How Do We Turn Earth into a Heaven?

I suppose we began thinking this way when we took our caves out of the ground and made artificial caves in trees and then took trees and made artificial caves outside on the ground. This, in some ways was the beginning of turning Earth into a heaven rather than hiding in our caves from the dinosaurs and Saber Toothed Tigers and running from Wooly Mammoths(large hairy elephants with tusks).

So, ever since then we have been trying to make our lives better in literally millions of successful and not so successful ways.

However, now the problem is different. It has become: "How do some humans survive and prosper in a world inhospitable in a completely new way?" The new way it is inhospitiable has nothing at all to do with large animals anymore. Most of them are already gone and soon we will be too if we don't figure a way for some of us to survive this next test to the survival of the human race.

Now, it is not just "How do we move our cave outside?", it is also "How do we deal with  what overpopulation has done to planet Earth?"

This is a completely new question and to compound the problem and to make it worse, we can't get everyone to agree on what to do. The educated of the planet who have studied this problem even don't agree. It is a war of words between those who say, "I want to make as much money now any way I can and the hell with the people in the future", and then there are those who say, "If we don't plan for the future there will not by any!"

So hopefully, there will be enough of the second category so the human race doesn't go extinct during the next 500 to 1000 years or just turn back into people who live in caves once again, hiding in the dark from the storms and droughts and winds over 100 miles per hour a lot of times on the planet, which by the way was caused directly by the 7 billion of us now and all our ancestors the last couple hundred years here on earth making money and surviving any way we could.

So, what do we do? The first thing likely is we as individuals do whatever we can to make things better. Second, we join with groups of like minded people building a consensus first within our own nation and then between nations of how to handle this problem in useful practical ways. Only in this way can we turn Earth into a heaven just like we once moved out of our caves into homes we built and stopped hiding from the wild animals who wanted to eat us in caves underground with boulders covering the entrances just like in the new full length movie cartoon "The Croods".

One of the things is to begin thinking on a macro scale of purifying air and water for mankind, thinking of ways to protect crops from heavy winds, driving rains, droughts and really bad storms of all kinds. Next, we need to create ways to move people from droughted dying areas to better areas so they don't just all die during bad droughts. And also  as more thought is given to all these problems one by one all these problems can and will be solved which could turn Earth into a heaven for everyone left alive here on Earth at some point in the near or far future.

Inexpensive energy, and having enough tillable rich soiled land are two of the biggest challenges here on earth now. But, since Solar and Wind are now comparable in price to the cost of all fuels in California, India and China, you are going to see now an almost literal explosion of solar, wind, geothermal and wave power throughout the world. Once energy generation goes away for the most part from oil and eventually natural gas, you will see things come into a better sense of order for the world in solving some of our problems.
